We planned on leaving our house around 10, and being at Northpark mall by 11…before the Santa line got long. As we walked down in Santa’s direction, a whole stream of daycare age kids were passing us going the other direction. The look on Grant’s face was priceless!!! We had decided to go that day because we thought it wouldn’t be crowded. Luckly, those kids had been at “Storytime with Santa”.

At 10 months now, Grant and I thought Macie would be terrified of Santa. She cries and looks for the closest person she knows when she sees a stranger. She won’t let just anyone hold her. I guess she knows Santa is not just ANYONE! She absolutely loved him. He talked to her and asked if she’d been a good girl and minded her mommy and daddy. She listened to every word!!! She wasn’t too interested in having her picture taken though. I think she would have rather just listened to him talk! After seeing Santa, we stood in a line that seemed a mile long to actually get our picture. It was worth every minute though! Even going as an adult, I got that same feeling I used to as a child waiting in line to see Santa!
